Bible Reading Plans
Read the Bible in a year with one of six printable reading plan options below!
Option 1: Daniel J. Harrison Plan
This plan goes through the OT in the order of the Hebrew Bible, and then the NT in a mostly-canonical order. This plan includes checkboxes for easy tracking throughout the year. This plan also takes into consideration the number of verses in each chapter, so your amount of daily reading will be more balanced.
Option 2: Generic Plan
This plan goes in canonical order. This plan includes checkboxes for easy tracking throughout the year.
Option 3: Blue Letter Bible Plan
This plan goes in chronological order (although some speculation was required). This plan will not follow the alternative order from option 1 or the canonical order from option 2. On a personal note, the ordering of this plan has always intrigued me since I was first introduced to it several years ago.
Option 4: The Gospel Coalition Plan
This plan will have you read one chapter from four sections of the Bible each day. This plan is different from all three above and takes you through the whole Bible once and the Gospels twice. This plan has checkboxes for easy tracking throughout the year.
Option 5: Ligonier Ministries Plan
This plan takes you through the Bible by genre, with a different genre assigned to each day of the week. This is more of a "weekly" plan, though it does include daily checkboxes for easy tracking throughout the year.
Option 6: The Bible Project Plan
This plan is mostly in canonical order and includes links to Bible Project videos and blogs to supplement and help you in your reading. This plan will get you through the whole Bible once and Psalms twice.
