Background
As students go through their junior year of high school, they are nearing the ever approaching time of applying to colleges. It is vital that students get a head start at narrowing the list of colleges down to a list of 6-10 that they can put their focus on through requesting more intimate information and with college visits. We will introduce certain principles that will help eliminate the stress involved in finding colleges. In so doing, students will garner skills to determine what facts are important or not in informational texts and further develop their ability to write objective summaries of information.
